Located on the famous “Magnificent Mile” in Chicago, this private investment firm became a full floor tenant in its existing 34th floor location. The organization’s renovation/expansion project combined the existing Arbor Investments space with two other vacated adjacent office spaces into one. This flawlessly integrated design became a uniform environment that balanced the firm’s existing brand with new traditional details and finish selections.

The perimeter private office and conference room design of the existing Arbor space became the map to our planning concept. Tempered glass front allow the natural light to filter into the interior spaces. A newly relocated reception area captures the elevator ID for the firm, while the designed Café/Lounge space doubles up as an employee lunch room, test-kitchen and informal meeting space for the company. In order to keep the fluidity of the existing space into the new, BOX selected a complimentary warm neutral pallet that would seamlessly connect the spaces. The originally selected dark colored wood was carried throughout the space strategically in order to convey the traditional feel that the Client sought after.
